Brimming with humour, touching recollection and amazing storytelling this is a powerful account of coming of age in small town Ireland, storytelling at it’s best, told by three young men eager to get your attention.
A normally dull little sea-side town comes alive as they tell of the goings-on, during one exciting week, these lovable characters get caught up in a series of dramatic events, which change their lives forever. You won’t get a better yarn than this!
Meet young Joe, bored with school and looking for adventure, eyeing “the girls from the Holy Faith” as he mitches off school with his friend Damien. His brother Frank, working full time in the family chipper hatches “his great plan” to solve all the family’s troubles. And of course their friend Ray the young debauched university lecturer who dates their sister Carmel gets caught up in the middle of it all!
