CTD City Theatre Dublin(CLG) is registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee in Ireland as CTD CITY THEATRE DUBLIN LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

A Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) is a non-profit entity used for charities, clubs, or social enterprises, lacking shares and shareholders; instead, members act as guarantors, promising to contribute a nominal sum if the company winds up, offering limited liability to protect personal assets. Key features include a focus on common purpose, limited liability, and a constitution (Memorandum & Articles) specifying objects and member guarantees, often requiring specific clauses for charitable status. 

There is "No Share Capital": Members are not shareholders and don't invest in shares.

CTD : City Theatre Dublin is primarily a company that tours theatre productions and arts events nationally in all counties on the Island of Ireland.

The Company also tours internationally and provides access to some of its events digitally in a variety of media. 

CTD creates work that ranges from large scale to intimate productions in Main houses, site specific locations and regional locations. We develop projects that actively engage with local community energies both on and off the stage.

We challenge theatre forms and expectations, making work for audiences of all ages.
